Inclusion criteria
Recipient
1. Patients with CLD of any etiology
2. 18-70 years
3. BMI >18 <30
4.MELD Score >=15 and undergoing living donor liver transplantation
Donor
1.Healthy ASA I or II eligible donors
2.BMI >18 <30
Exclusion criteria
Recipient
1. Age less than 18 years and more than 70 years
2.Acute liver failure
3.Repeat transplant
4.Previous history of COPD, Asthma
5.BMI <18 or >30
6.Previous major thoracic or abdominal surgery
7.Subgroup analysis- Re-intubation due to repeat surgery because of any cause, poor graft function/PGNF

Name Time Method To find preoperative thickness of diaphragm in chronic liver disease recipients scheduled for Living donor liver transplantation.Timepoint: Only at one time just before giving anaesthesia to patients in operation theatre

Name Time Method â?¢To find if recipients with reduced diaphragmatic thickness have higher postoperative weaning failure and prolonged hospital stay.Timepoint: Till the patient will be off <br/ ><br> from ventilatory support, extubated and discharged from intensive care units/ Wards
