Patients of either sex.
Age group between 20 years to 40 years.
Weight between 50-80 Kg.
ASA grade I & II.
Undergoing abdominal surgery (Duration 60-120 min)
1)Patients not willing to participate in the
study.
2)History of urinary system obstruction that 3)needed surgical intervention.
4)History of neurological disorder, severe
liver or heart disease.
5)History of overactive bladder ( urinating
more than 3 times at night or 8 times during
a 24-hour period).
6)History of chronic pain, opium abuse and
morbid obesity.
7)If there was need for incision over supra-
pubic area or bladder ,delayed extubation or
a need for admission to the intensive care
unit .
