入选标准
- •Age > 18 years
- •Newly intubated patients requiring mechanical ventilation for a minimum period of 5 days
排除标准
- •Patients with pneumonia at the time of hospital admission
- •Patients with known allergy to chlorhexidine or povidone iodine
- •History of aspiration of oral or gastric contents prior to or during the process of intubation
- •Tracheotomised patients
- •Patients at risk for chemical meningitis ( nasal bone fracture, cerebrospinal fluid rhinorrhea)
