1-Age >18years
2-Severe kyphosis with active disease( >30 degree in adolescents and > 45 degree in adults)
3-Deteriorating neurology while on conservative treatment(grade 1,2,3 paraplegics)
4-If xrays show signs of instability-spine at risk sign>=2/4
5-Grade 4 paraplegics as per kumars classification
6-Progression of the the kyphotic deformity
7-Not showing significant improvement even after fair trial of ATT for 4-6 weeks (grade1,2,3paraplegics)
8-Recurrence of the neurological complications
1-Patients who do not meet criteria of inclusion 2-Patient having severe co-morbidities and unfit for surgery.
