Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Squamous cell carcinoma with frozen section negativity of level IIA
  • •No preoperative signs of myopathy or neuropathy
  • •Absence of locoregional recurrence

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Previously operated cases
  • •N3 stage of metastasis
  • •Tumor directly involving the accessory nerve
  • •Base of tongue, palate squamous cell carcinoma
  • •Patients with Sternocleidomastoid resected
  • •H/o shoulder pathology or neck pathology(cervical spondylosis)
