Inclusion Criteria
1.Healthy individuals going for cataract 40- 80 years.
2.Pre-existing corneal regular astigmatism of 0.5 D to 2.0D.
3.Capability to give informed consent and willingness to follow up.
4.Informed consent obtained for both phacoemulsification surgery and astigmatic keratotomy.
5.Study subject is agreeable to comply with the postoperative follow-up regime stated.
6.Absence of any exclusion criteria.
