Inclusion Criteria

1) Patients ASA 1-3 physical status

2)Age 18-70 yrs of either sex

3)Patient posted for elective and emergency upper limb surgeries (in emergency surgeries NBM for 6 hour is needed , those patients are not NBM for 6 hour for solid are not included in study)

4)Patient with body mass index (BMI) 18-40 kg/m2

Exclusion Criteria

1)Hypersensitivity to local anesthetic agents

2)Altered mental status (phychiatric and anxiety disorder)

3)History of allergy to study drugs

4)Patient on sedative and hypnotic medications

5)Patient with chronic pain or on painkiller

6)Patient with severe hepatic or kidney impairment

7)Patient having history of thyrotoxicosis, uncontrolled hypertension, cardiac,chest or neurological diseases

8)Pregnant or breast feeding female
