Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •small for gestational age neonates birth weight less than 1500 grams started on feeds within 48 hours of life
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\)Major congenital malformation including Tracheo\-Esophageal Fistula, Oesophageal Atresia, duodenal atresia interfering or delaying feed initiation
- •2\) Chromosomal abnormalities
- •3\) Intestinal perforation before initiation of feed
- •4\) Infants with absent or reversed end diastolic flow (AEDF/REDF) in antenatal usg
- •5\) Infants who are severely sick, on invasive ventilation with shock (on inotropes)
