Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •patients about to start with orthodontic treatment
  • •willing to provide informed consent for the procedure
  • •no significant systemic or dental disease
  • •patients with intellectual ability to score pain

Exclusion Criteria

  • •history of high chilli diet
  • •patients using theophylline or ACE inhibitors
  • •history of chronic obstructive lung disease
