In conclusion, this study found that providing health education to patients with functional dyspepsia via text messages did not significantly reduce symptoms or improve quality of life. Further studies that include a larger sample of patients are needed to examine the effects of health education via text messaging on functional dyspepsia patients.

adult aged more than 20 years old who have at least 1 of 4 following symptoms: early satiety, postprandial fullness, epigastric pain, epigastric burning for more than 1 month, never undergoing upper gastrointestinal endoscopy or undergoing upper gastrointestinal endoscopy but not found the culprit lesion, have electronic devices that be able to receive messages through the Line application.
patients with biliary tract disease, psychiatric disease, had the culprit lesion on endoscopy, had alarm features, pregnant, unable to take medication.
