In conclusion, this study found that providing health education to patients with functional dyspepsia via text messages did not significantly reduce symptoms or improve quality of life. Further studies that include a larger sample of patients are needed to examine the effects of health education via text messaging on functional dyspepsia patients.

入选标准
- •adult aged more than 20 years old who have at least 1 of 4 following symptoms: early satiety, postprandial fullness, epigastric pain, epigastric burning for more than 1 month, never undergoing upper gastrointestinal endoscopy or undergoing upper gastrointestinal endoscopy but not found the culprit lesion, have electronic devices that be able to receive messages through the Line application.
排除标准
- •patients with biliary tract disease, psychiatric disease, had the culprit lesion on endoscopy, had alarm features, pregnant, unable to take medication.
