Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1. Married / unmarried women aged between 18-40 years
- •2. Amenorrhoea (absence of menstruation more than 3 months)
- •3. Oligomenorrhoea (menstrual bleeding less than 2 days)
- •4. Irregular menstruation (8 cycles/year or
- •more than 35 days between the cycles)
- •5. Polycystic ovary in recent ultrasound scan (Unilateral / Bilateral) (more than 12 antral follicles in one ovary and or ovarian volume more than 10cm3)
- •6. Hyperandrogenism
- •7. Hirsutism
- •8. Patients who are willing to co-operate for specific and routine blood investigations.
- •9. Patients who are willing to sign informed consent.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1. K/C/O Hyperthyroidism / Hypothyroidism
- •2. K/C/O Diabetes mellitus / Hypertension
- •3. K/C/O Congenital uterine defects
- •4. K/C/O Pituitary /adrenal disorders
- •5. K/C/O Haemorrhagic / chocolate cyst
- •6. K/C/O Tuberculosis of ovary or uterus
- •7. Breast feeding mothers
- •8. Any other systemic illness
