Overview
Brief Summary
This research is of great importance, as it is intended to analyze the effect of an intervention based on physical exercise (supervised and at home) on immunological factors, cardiorespiratory function, intestinal microbiota and lifestyle in patients with chronic non-communicable diseases ( hypertension, obesity, diabetes, heart disease, nephrology, cancer and HIV/AIDS) who were infected with COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) and received medical clearance. Based on the results of this research, we seek to improve and elucidate knowledge related to the immune system, nutrition, intestinal microbiota, biochemistry and respiratory function for two years. HUIZHENG, et al and HUANG et al; 2020, report that patients with COVID-19, demonstrate a decrease in lymphocytes and increased levels of inflammatory cytokines and have diarrhea, thus we can relate the importance of this research, as it is proven that aerobic and strength physical exercise improve function and respiratory muscles, regulates and stimulates the release of cytokines, improving the inflammatory response of the body mechanism by which we fight infectious agents and modulate the intestinal microbiota, thus it is necessary and of utmost importance to carry out research involving the practice of physical exercise supervised, thus being able to elucidate new forms of rehabilitation and monitoring of patients who have already been infected with the disease. All actions of this project will clarify and develop knowledge and protocols for the improvement of infected patients acting directly in the Brazilian Public Health with measures and actions to reduce public spending on Health.
