All adult patients (age >18 years) with colorectal malig-
nancy in whom resection of the tumor was done with
curative intent during the study period
Patients treated with palliative intent without
tumor resection, such as internal bypass or prox-
imal stoma formation without tumor resection
Patients with metastatic disease
Gross residual tumor after resection (R2 resec-
tion)
Patients with carcinoma in situ
Patients whose records cannot be retrieved
Refusing consent for inclusion in the prospective
period
