Inclusion Criteria
Adult men between 18 -70 years with unilateral inguinal hernia and fit for general anaesthesia under ASA grade I and II.
Exclusion Criteria
Patients with complicated hernia, i.e. irreducible, obstructed and strangulated hernias, previous lower abdominal surgery and coagulopathies.
Patients who are not giving informed consent for randomization, blinding, or TEP.

Name Time Method Difference in initial space dissection between the two groups will be measured in terms of: <br/ ><br>1.Peritoneal breach. <br/ ><br>2.Bleeding during initial space creation(nil/mild/moderate/severe) <br/ ><br>3.Dropping of inferior epigastric vessels <br/ ><br>4.Initial extraperitoneal space creation:satisfactory or unsatisfactory <br/ ><br>5.Time between initial incision and insertion of third portTimepoint: During the surgical procedure only.
