Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •pregnant women 18 years and above
- •laboring patients who undergo a cesarean section
Exclusion Criteria
- •placental / uterine abnormalities
- •chronic HTN , Gestational HTN, Preeclampsia
- •HIV/AIDS on protease inhibitors
- •history of Coronary heart disease
- •history of hypersensitivity to methylergometrine
- •underlying uncorrected structural heart disease
