Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Age 18 years and over; a score\=13 on Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression; a score of \=9 on the Beck Depression Inventory; compliance with a selective serotonin re\-uptake inhibitor for a minimum of 4 weeks.

Exclusion Criteria
- •Age \<18 years; temporary GP registration; psychotic illness; suicidal patients; currently receiving psychological therapy or being managed by specialist services; pregnant
