- •? Nasopharyngeal carcinoma
- •- Primary nasopharyngeal carcinoma that has been pathologically confirmed
- •- No distant metastasis based on PET-CT imaging (T0 to T4, N0 to N3, M0 (AJCC 7th edition))
- •- Age 18 years or older
- •- Consented to participate for the study
- •? Oropharyngeal carcinoma
- •- Primary oropharyngeal carcinoma that has been pathologically confirmed
- •- No distant metastasis based on PET-CT imaging (T0 to T4, N0 to N3, M0 (AJCC 7th edition))
- •- Age 18 years or older
- •- Metastatic cervical lymph nodes confirmed as squamous cell carcinoma should have p16 immunostaining positive results (TxN+M0)
- •- Consented to participate for the study
排除标准
- •? Other primary cancer diagnosed
- •? Metastatic cervical lymph node of squamous cell carcinoma that has p16 IHC negative results
- •? Recurrent or metastatic nasopharyngeal or oropharyngeal carcinoma
- •? Patients with previous treatment history of RT or chemotherapy for nasopharyngeal or oropharyngeal carcinoma
- •? Unable for blood sampling
- •? Refused to participate for the study
