入选标准
- •The inclusion criteria stipulated that 1) participants should be > 18 years of age, 2) there should be ETT use with secure methods including adhesive tape, gauze tying, or cloth tape tying among critical ill patients requiring endotracheal intubation and mechanical ventilation for at least 24 hours, 3) consent for participation from patient family members should be provided.
排除标准
- •Patients were excluded if they (1) were intubated greater than 24 hours prior to admission to this setting, (2) had lip ulcer or facial skin breakdown prior to enrollment, and (3) required nasotracheal intubation, or (4) had a documented allergy to tape.
