Patient having sign and symptom of Shwitra, Sadhya lakshana of Shwitra, Age 16-60 years, Chronicity of less than 10 years, Woodâ??s lamp test positive.
Classical symptoms: Twak varna: Change in skin colour of hypopigmented patches from adjacent skin â?? Rakta, Tamra, Sweta, Pandura and Ruksha. Either segmental or Non segmental vitiligo could be included in inclusion criteria.
Sadhya lakshana- Arakta Loma(Not covered with red hair), Ashukla(Non whitish), Tanu or Abahal(Thin), Pandu(Pallor), Naati chirotthita (Not of long duration), Navin (New), Unnam(Elevated), Madhyaavakasham (Elevated in center),Asansrista, Anagnidagdhajam(Except Burn).
1.Age below 16 and above 60 years
2.Patient with associated diseases like cancer,Diabetics with uncontrollable blood sugars,HIV and secondary skin infections involving large body part.
3.Pregnant woman
4.Lactating mother
5.Patient of any other severe illness
6.Patients on drugs which are responsible for photosensitivity or cause hyperpigmentation of skin , patients on modern treatment of vitiligo like cytotoxic or disease modifying drugs like methotrexate, systemic corticosteroids since long time, receiving local drugs for Hyperpigmentation, receiving any other drugs for the management of Shwitra(Vitiligo).

Name Time Method The patients are selected from P.D.Patel Ayurved Hospital.Minimum 10 patients are selected for this research work.The obtained data will be statastically analyzed with the help of student t test.Timepoint: Duration - 4 weeks <br/ ><br>Follow up -15 days
