Patients of 40â??66 age groups, irrespective of gender; (2) Stable mild to moderate COPD patients who had given written informed consent to participate in the study; (3) Ambulatory and cooperative.
1) Patients below the age of 40 years and above 66 years; (2) Patients with any respiratory tract infection during the past 4 weeks; (3) Patients with chronic or acute diseases known to be associated with elevated oxidative stress (liver diseases, renal diseases, heart diseases, thyroid disorders, coagulation disorders, hematologic problems, diabetes mellitus, acute respiratory distress syndrome, any CNS disorder etc.; (4) patients who were hypersensitive to any of the conventional COPD drugs; (5) Patients have taken antioxidants and vitamins supplements in the last 4 weeks; (6) pregnant/ lactating females; (7) severe and very severe cases were not enrolled in this study.
