Inclusion Criteria
Inclusion:Patients with ASA class 1 & 2 anesthesia; no sore throat, cough or hoarseness before surgery; age between 18-60 years; Patients undergoing open orthopedic surgeries (end organ surgery); no addiction; duration from 30 to 120 minutes
exclusion criteria:The need for more than one attempt to intubation; Longer time of surgery for more than 2 hours; airway spasm at the end of anesthesia; history of receiving steroids and opiates during a week before surgery

Name Time Method Sore throat. Timepoint: 2, 6, 12 and 24 hours after extubation. Method of measurement: Visual Analog Scale.;Cough. Timepoint: At recovery, 2, 6, 12 and 24 hours after extubation. Method of measurement: Asking and viewing.;Hoarseness. Timepoint: 2, 6, 12 and 24 hours after extubation. Method of measurement: Asking and viewing.
