Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Patients both male and female between age group of 18 to 65 years admitted in ICU
- •Pre and post operative patients with traumatic brain and spinal chord injury and associated multisystemic involvement admitted in ICU
- •Variables pertaining to neurological conditions like initial GCS at the time of admission, CT scan findings, ICP monitoring in case of head injury patients, assessment of sensory and motor power especially in spinal chord injury patients was recorded.
- •Following non\-neurological complications parameters were recorded
- •Respiratory:
- •Lung infiltration on chest X\-ray
- •PaO2/FiO2 \< 200 (Arterial blood gas analysis\[ABG])
- •PaO2/FiO2 200\-300(ABG)
- •Atelectasis on X\-ray
- •Cardiovascular:
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patients other then primary brain and spinal chord injury admitted in ICU
- •Patients with primary brain and spinal chord injury not admitted in ICU
