Inclusion Criteria

Inclusion criteria were 42-82 years old. Diagnosis of polyneuropathy was based on neurological examination or electrodiagnostic tests.

Exclusion Criteria

Patients with cardiovascular and liver lesions, orthostatic hypotension, and history of allergy to gabapentin or topiramate, patients with pain like neuropathic pain, psychiatric disorders, uncontrolled hypertension, drug abuse and pregnant or lactating women were excluded.
