Inclusion Criteria
1Age =18-=80years
2Patients diagnosed with gastric varices type GOV2 or IGV1 according to the Sarin classification(1)
3Treated for primary or secondary prophylaxis
Exclusion Criteria
Patients who did not give consent
1 Age < 18 years
2 Patient with concurrent hepatorenal
3 syndrome and/or multiorgan failure
4 Pregnant or nursing female
5 Platelet count < 50 000 /mL or an international normalized ratio (INR)=
