1. People between 18 -35 (Both included) year age
2. Of either gender
3. Suffering with recurrent episodes of upper respiratory tract illness ( 2 or more episodes in a year)
4. For more than one year are eligible to participate in the intervention study.
5. The eligibility is subject to the absence of known causes leading to recurrence of URT illness (smoking, occupational exposure of pollutants, persisting infection, immunosuppressive medication etc.)
6. Eligibility in the intervention group is further subject to informed consent duly obtained from the prospective participants.
1.Lower respiratory tract illness including Pneumonia (either viral or bacterial), Bronchitis, Tuberculosis and Bronchiolitis will be excluded.
2.Conditions other than those mentioned in inclusion criteria will be excluded.
3.People not ready to stop taking health and nutritional supplements will not be recruited.
4.Those having a history of having ayurvedic treatment for any reason in past 4 weeks prior to the date of recruitment will not be included.
