•Inclusion criteria for Type-2 Diabetes
•1.Patients of Type-2 Diabetes with the above mentioned complaints like Prabhuta Mutrata (Polyuria), Pipasadhikya (Polydipsia), Kshudadhikya (Polyphagia) and Kara pada tala daha.
•2.F.B.S. levels Ã¢â?°Â¥ 126 mg/dl & P.P. B. S. Ã¢â?°Â¥ 200 mg/dl.
•3.Diseased persons attending the O.P.D. and I.P.D. of I.P.G.T. & R.A. will be selected without any bars of caste, religion, occupation and sex.
•4.Age group: - 20 - 60 yrs.
•Inclusion criteria for Obesity
•1.Patients of obesity with the above-mentioned complaints like Pipasadhikya (Excessive Thirst), Gaurava (Heaviness), Daurgandhya (Bad Smell from the body), Javoparodh etc.
•2.Diseased persons attending the O.P.D. and I.P.D. of I.P.G.T. & R.A. will be selected without any bars of caste, religion, occupation, and sex.
•3.B.M.I. Ã¢â?°Â¥ 25 Kg/M2
•4.Age group: - 20 - 60 yrs.
•Inclusion criteria for Controls (Healthy volunteers):
•1.Individuals who will fulfill the criteria of the health assessment questionnaire (Developed by AYURGENOMICS-TRISUTRA project).
•2.Age group: - 20-60 years.

•Exclusion Criteria for Type-2 Diabetes.
•1.Patient having Type-I Diabetes Mellitus (Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus).
•2.Patient having Type-II DM with any other serious systemic disease like Congestive cardiac failure, Chronic Renal failure etc.
•3.Patient having age below 20 and above 60 years
•Exclusion Criteria for Obesity.
•1.Patients with evidence of renal and hepatic involvement.
•2.Pregnant and Lactating women.
•3.Age below 20 and above 60 years.
•Exclusion Criteria for Controls (Healthy volunteers):
•1.Individuals who will not fulfill the criteria of health assessment questionnaire (Developed by AYURGENOMICS-TRISUTRA project).
•2.Individual having age below 20 and above 60 years
