Inclusion Criteria
ASA GRADE 1 and 2
Weight (40-75)KG
Patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy under general anaesthesia
Exclusion Criteria
1. Patients not willing to participate in study
2. History of allergy to study drugs
3. BMI >30 kg/m2
4. Patients having renal or hepatic
insufficiency,
neurologic and psychiatric disease
5. Preoperative heart rate <45/min
6. Patients on antihypertensive medication with
any alpha 2 adrenergic agonist e.g clonidine
7. If laparoscopic cholecystectomy converted to
open cholecystectomy
