简要总结

Falls among the geriatric population represent a major public health concern due to their high prevalence and association with significant morbidity, mortality, functional decline, and reduced quality of life. Hence we intend to do research on the Efficacy of tDCS and Game Based balance training on Proprioception in Geriatrics Population. The participants will be divided into three groups namely tDCS group, game based balance training group and Control group using randomized method.

•Control Group– The control Group will receive  conventional proprioceptive training which includes warm up exercises, proprioceptive exercises and cool down.

•tDCS Group – This Group will receive normal Proprioception training along with tDCS.

•Game based balance training - This group will receive game based balance training using sensamove software. It runs on dynamic balance training programme and offers visual feedback.Depending upon the patient’s ability, game modules will  instruct the patient  to transfer weight from front to back, right to left and in different ways
