Inclusion Criteria

  • •\- confirmed atrial cardiomyopathy (LAVI \>34 ml/m2\)
  • •\- ECG\-confirmed atrial fibrillation
  • •\- age: 65\-80 years old

Exclusion Criteria

  • •\- permanent AF
  • •\- previous AF ablation
  • •\- heart failure NYHA III/IV
  • •\- severe aortic or mitral valve disease
  • •\- life expectancy \< 1 year
