Mothers with 5-12-year-old children who experienced child abuse in their childhood and mothers with a 5-12-year-old children without child abuse experience.
Participants will be excluded from the study if there are contraindications to MRI (such as tattoos (clarification), metallic implants, pregnancy, permanent make-up, previous traumatic brain injury), the participants are claustrophobic, acute suicidality or drug dependence. In the control dyads participants will be excluded from the study if they experienced child abuse.

- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Mother: Changes in maternal sensitivity from baseline to Follow-up II in EA score and changes in maternal psychopathology from baseline to follow-up I and II (HAMD, SCL-90-R, BDI-II, IRI, PSI) as well as in maternal abuse risk (EBSK). Child: Changes in child well-being from baseline to Follow-Up II in SIDS-SCREEN and changes in behavioral abnormalities from baseline to Follow-Up I and II (CBCL, TRF).
