Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Patients between 13 years to 21 years of age who could understand, assess, and answer the questionnaires
- •\- undergoing upper and lower fixed orthodontic treatment with MBT prescription 0\.022\-inch metal brackets having double\-mesh base
- •\- finishing arch wires present for at least two months (0\.019 x 0\.025\-inch stainless steel)
Exclusion Criteria
- •\- History of taking medicine periodically or in the last 24 hours (eg, painkillers, corticosteroids, and antiflu drugs)
- •\- Debonded brackets at the time of debonding
- •\- Missing teeth except extracted premolars
- •\- Surgical treatment (including impacted tooth removal), no tooth transplantation, and no miniscrews present
- •\- Craniofacial deformities that would effect dentoalveolar bone quality (eg, cleft lip and palate).
