Patients who met the above diagnostic criteria; aged 12-18 years; conscious, with stable vital signs and some expressiveness; patients with mild to moderate depression with a Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) score between 20-35; and those who agreed to sign the informed consent form after approval by the ethics committee of the hospital.
Patients with secondary depression caused by other organic pathologies; those with severe heart, liver, lung or kidney dysfunction or serious diseases and those with infectious diseases; adolescent females in pregnancy or breastfeeding; those taking antibiotics, steroids, immunosuppressants, etc. 2 weeks prior to the assessment; those with severe suicidal self-abusive tendencies.
