Brief Summary

This is a prospective open label non randomised clinical study on 40 clinically diagnosed cases of Tinea Corporis. The study will be conducted at Sainath Homoeopathic Hospital Rajkot for 18 months. Patients will be treated with individualized constitutional dynamized homeopathic medicines selected on the basis of case taking and totality of symptoms. Follow up will be done every 15 days and treatment response will be assessed using the Tinea Severity Score TSS. The study aims to evaluate the clinical effectiveness of homeopathy in improving symptoms and reducing recurrence in Tinea Corporis.

Inclusion Criteria

  • PATIENTS OF BOTH SEXES BETWEEN AGES GROUP 15 YEARS TO 45 YEARS.
  • ALL SOCIO-ECONOMIC CLASSES, IRRESPECTIVE OF CASTE AND RELIGION, WILL BE CONSIDERED.
  • RECENTLY DIAGNOSED OR PRI-DIAGNOSED CASES OF TENIA CORPORIS.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Individuals are currently on immunosuppressive medications.
  • Patients receiving conventional antifungal treatment.
  • Cases involving secondary skin infections.
  • Skin disorders of non-fungal origin.

Primary Outcomes

To ascertain effectiveness of Individualized

Time Frame: it will be achieved within 11 months of period.

Homoeopathic Medicines in Tenia Corporis as per Tenia Severity Score TSS.
