Persons with ICD diagnosis code U09.9! in 2022 who are statutory insured with the AOK Lower Saxony; continuous statutory health insurance with the AOK Lower Saxony since 2019; = 18 years; residence: Lower Saxony

Persons with a confirmed (self-test is sufficient) COVID-19 infection in 2023 and persistent symptoms; = 18 years; residence: Lower Saxony
d) Relatives, neighbours, and friends:
Relatives, neighbours, and friends of group 2 participants; = 18 years
e) Affected or formerly affected persons and relatives, neighbours, and friends:
Affected or formerly affected persons: Group 2 participants who are able to conduct an interview in terms of their health status and German language skills.
Relatives, neighbours, and friends: Primary confidant of affected or formerly affected person; involved in care/support of the affected or formerly affected person; = 18 years
f) General practitioners:
Members of the teaching and research networks of the Institute for General Practice and Palliative Care of the Hannover Medical School and of the Institute for General Practice of the University Medical Center Göttingen; = 18 years

Registered and practicing general practitioners in Lower Saxony with the exception of those who treat only privately insured patients; = 18 years

Experts dealing with post-COVID from different perspectives and responsibilities (e.g., Long COVID Expert Council of the Lower Saxony Ministry of Science and Culture, experts from medicine, rehabilitation, public health, epidemiology, self-government, politics, self-help).

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Due to the exploratory nature of this project, there is no primary outcome. Relevant outcomes are derived from the hypotheses to be tested and are described using descriptive and correlational statistical methods. The objective of this project is to analyse the use of health care services and the way affected persons cope with a post COVID-19 condition and fatigue syndrome in Lower Saxony from different perspectives (affected persons, relatives/neighbours/friends, general practitioners), taking into account possible regional differences.
