Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Systemic disease affecting the response to periodontal treatment
  • •Patients with mild to moderate chronic periodontitis
  • •Chronic periodontitis patients who require periodic (non\-surgical) periodontal treatment in four quadrants with homologous and control teeth.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Use of drugs affecting the response to periodontal treatment in the last 1 month
  • •Receiving periodontal treatments that include removal of subgingival mass in the last 1 month
  • •The presence of caries and retentive plaque repairs
  • •Occurrence of change in pulp and periapical condition during the study
  • •Undergoing orthodontic treatment
  • •Smoking and tobacco use
