Inclusion Criteria
1. Haemo-dynamically stable Low Birth Weight (LBW) neonates <2000gms eligible for KMC
2. Kangaroo care provider available (18 years and above)
3. Family willing to bring the mother-baby dyad for weekly follow-up for at least 4 weeks from day of initiation of KMC and residing in a geographic area close to the hospital where home-visits are possible.
Exclusion Criteria
Extreme preterm neonates (corrected gestational age <28 weeks)
Neonates less than 1200 grams

Name Time Method The device can accurately measure KMC adherence and newborn plus maternal temperatures in a continuous and real-time manner and is able to trigger corrective action.Timepoint: Continuously for 4 weeks
