Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Major elective shoulder surgery
  • \-Consent for the establishment of a regional anesthesia procedure
  • \-Consent to participate in this study after comprehensive information provided by a study physician

Exclusion Criteria

  • \- Age \< 18 years
  • \- Lack of consent to participate in the study
  • \- Contraindications for peripheral regional anesthesia (e.g., allergies to local anesthetics, infections in the puncture area)
  • \- Chronic neurological deficit in the operated limb
  • \- Chronic pain syndrome or pain therapy (\>6 months)
