selected subjects are required to present at baseline with a mean gingival index score of at least 1.0 as determined by the use of the loe and silness gingival index,and a mean plaque index score of at least 1.5 detrmined by the use of turesky modification of quigley - hein plaque index.
subjects should be systemically healthy .
subjects possess at least 20 uncrowned permanent teeth.
•Subjects with partial removable dentures, orthodontic bands, or advanced periodontal disease.
•Subjects having hard or soft tissue tumours or having five or more carious lesions requiring immediate restorative treatment.
•Subjects with history of allergy to personal care /consumer products or their ingredients, or if they could not refrain from eating or drinking due to medical conditions for period of up to four hours.
•Subjects used antibiotics at any time during 1 month.

Name Time Method outcome is yet to be determined as the theisis work is sent for statistical analusis .Timepoint: 1.Gingival index score (Loe and Silness)-score â?¥ 1 <br/ ><br>2. Plaque Index Score (Quiigley-Hein) -Score â?¥ 1.5 these values are the criteria for selection after this baseline taken, students are provided with their test dentifrices which are then instructed to brush with their assigned dentifrices, then above mentioned indexes are taken after 12 hours, 24 hours, 1week and 4 week .
