Inclusion Criteria
The patients were males and females undergoing for elective surgery under general anesthesia which ASA physical status I-III, older than 18 years and requiring radial artery cannulation.
Exclusion Criteria
We excluded patients who refuse consent, have to get radial artery cannulation before induction of anesthesia, prior radial artery cannulation during this hospital admission, instabilities of vital signs, full thickness burns, peripheral vascular disease and infection of the cannulation site.
