- •American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) I and II
- •patients who are candidates for elective surgery under general anesthesia and endotracheal intubation with cuffed tube

- •Morbid obesity (BMI above 40)
- •History of any disease or abnormality that adversely affects anesthesia and surgery
- •History of any drug use that adversely affects anesthesia and surgery
