In today’s digital age, mobile phones have become an integral part of adolescents’ lives, offering both opportunities and challenges. While these devices provide access to information, social connectivity, and entertainment, excessive usage can lead to negative consequences such as reduced academic performance, sleep disturbances, and increased anxiety.
Given the increasing reliance on mobile phones and the potential negative consequences of their misuse, there is a pressing need to evaluate the effectiveness of psychoeducation programs in this context. This study aims to fill this gap by assessing how such programs can influence mobile phone usage patterns and self-efficacy among adolescents. The findings will provide valuable insights for educators, parents, and policymakers seeking to promote healthier digital behaviors in the adolescent population.
PROBLEM STATEMENT:
**“**Impact of psycho education program on mobile usages and self efficacy among adolescent”
HYPOTHESES:
Following hypotheses will be tested at 0.05 level of significance
H1 – There is significant difference between pretest and post test score of psycho education program on mobile phone usage and self efficacy among adolescent
H2 – There is significant association between pretest score of psycho education program on mobile phone usage and self efficacy among adolescent with their demographic variables
H3 – There is significant relationship between mobile phone usage and self efficacy among adolescent.

- •Currently enrolled in middle and higher school.
- •Owns a mobile phone and use it regularly.
- •Able to understand and communicate in the language used for the psycho-education program.
- •Consent and adolescent assent to participate in the study.
排除标准
- •Presence of any medical and psychological condition assed or informed by teachers.
- •Prior participation in similar psycho-education programs within the last year.
- •Does not own or have regular access to a mobile phone.
- •Student has irregular attendance as evidence by school attendance register.
