Patients presenting with clinically established condition of Diabetic Retinopathy
Patients with Non proliferative diabetic retinopathy of mild to moderate changes
Patients of DM (Type 1&Type 2) between the ages 20-70years having ophthalmoscopically detectable DR changes.
Patients on anti diabetic treatment and good glycemic control.
Patient with Severe NPDR, proliferative diabetic retinopathy, high risk proliferative diabetic retinopathy, Diabetic maculopathy, advanced diabetic eye disease, and retinopathies of other origin will be excluded.
Known patients of Glaucoma and any ophthalmic infective conditions will be excluded.
Patients with Aided Visual Acuity less than 6/60 at Snellenâ??s distant chart.
Patients with other systemic disorders like renal diseases, chronic uncontrolled hyperglycaemia and hyperlipidaemia, cardiovascular diseases etc will be excluded.
Extremely debilitated patients and in pregnancy .
