Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •All patients of either sex belonging to American society of Anaesthesiologists(ASA) physical status I\-III scheduled to undergo elective surgery who are able to understand this study protocol.
Exclusion Criteria
- •The patients
- •On treatment with drugs known to effect gastric motility,renal failure,intracranial space occupying lesions,patients who are having increased baseline gastric residual volume(pregnancy,undergoing GI surgery,poorly controlled diabetes mellitus,gastro esophageal reflux disease,hiatus hernia,BMI \>35kgm\-2 and who refuse to participate in the study.
