Patients of either sex aged between 18 and 60 years belonging to ASA physical status of I & II grade,scheduled for elective surgery at Rajindra Hospital,Patiala
Exclusion Criteria
.History of severe bradycardia
.Any type of A-V block in ECG
.Heart failure
.Liver cirrhosis
.Thrombocytopenia
.Coagulopathy
.History of hypertension/diabetes mellitus/bronchial asthma
.History of previous nasal surgery/nasal trauma
.Nasal polyp
.Prisoners
.Pregnant females
.Mentally ill patients
