Inclusion Criteria

  • •Patients of either sex aged between 18 and 60 years belonging to ASA physical status of I \& II grade,scheduled for elective surgery at Rajindra Hospital,Patiala

Exclusion Criteria

  • •.History of severe bradycardia
  • •.Any type of A\-V block in ECG
  • •.Heart failure
  • •.Liver cirrhosis
  • •.Thrombocytopenia
  • •.Coagulopathy
  • •.History of hypertension/diabetes mellitus/bronchial asthma
  • •.History of previous nasal surgery/nasal trauma
  • •.Nasal polyp
  • •.Pregnant females
