Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • All patients in the age group of 11 to 80 who are suspected to have nodular thyroid disease or altered thyroid function test.
  • All patients with thyroid nodules measuring more than 1cm in size .
  • All patients with diagnosed thyroid disease on follow up and willing to undergo surgery .

Exclusion Criteria

  • Completely cystic lesions are unlikely to be malignant and hence excluded from study.
  • All post treated cases of malignant thyroid disease presenting with recurrence.
  • Patients with Hyperthyroidism/Recurrent goitre.
  • Cases with nondiagnostic /indeterminate results.
