The safety cutoff storage pressure to prevent upper urinary tract damage in neurogenic bladder from spinal cord pathology and analysing the risk factors
- Conditions
- Cutoff level of storage bladder pressure related to upper urinary tract damage in neurogenic bladder patients.Risk factors related to upper urinary tract damage in neurogenic bladder patients.storage bladder pressureupper urinary tract damageneurogenic bladderlow compliance bladder
- Registration Number
- TCTR20210908008
- Lead Sponsor
- Thammasat University hospital
- Brief Summary
From 88 patients who met with eligible, the mean age, gender, voiding pattern, type of spinal cord pathology and level of spinal cord lesion were not different between the two groups. The cutoff value of daily storage pressure of 15 cmH2O or more provided 79.31% sensitivity and 67.80% specificity to result in UUTD. The low compliance and storage pressure at more than 15 cmH2O showed statistical significance related to UUTD.
