Age = 18 years
- Indication for elective distal pancreatectomy, with or without splenectomy
- Minimally invasive or open surgical removal (resection) for tumors or cysts of the pancreatic tail
- ASA I-III
- Verbal and written informed consent
- Ability to understand the content and scope of the study and to be able to implement it
- Distal pancreatectomy as a secondary procedure during a gastric or colon
resection
- Participation in another study that influences the study results
- > ASA 3
