Inclusion Criteria
Patient with anticipated difficult airway
1.Unstable cervical spine posted for -elective cervical fixation
Exclusion Criteria
1.Patient having sensitivity to local anesthesia
2.ASA-III &IV
3.Higher degree of A-V Block
4.Obstructive sleep apnea
5.Morbid obesity
6.Patient on ACE inhibitor, alpha antagonist, TCA
