Inclusion Criteria

The study focuses on the patients in ASA (American Society of Anesthesiologists) physical status classification 1 or 2 who are scheduled for thyroidectomy, whose ages are between 18 to 70 years olds.

Exclusion Criteria

1. A patient who complains of severe pain in preoperative period
2. A patient who has any experience of general anesthesia
3. A patient who has a psychologic problem, for example alcohol or drug dependency.
4. One who has a difficulty to understand or to hear when counselling.
5. Heavy smoker
